Supercon:
Fucking inmature 15 year old girl cosplaying as Russia was running around all 3 days, acting like an idiot and having all these other underage hetaliafags follow her like she was the leader of something.
She got into a fight with some random ass shitty Wow cosplayer and using her REAL LEAD PIPE, the two of them fought it out for a few minutes and the wowfag was just like "lol kidding" and ran off like a pussy

Mizucon:
Same running around bullshit as supercon on saturday. They tired to take over a panel room that was not being used and it was a total chunterfuck and full of fail inmature yaoi-inside-gay jokes like they were something new/funny. They get kicked out after about 10 minutes and are basically told to GTFO out of the room.

Metrocon: Not as much fail, but a little win too
Overall, was not too bad. Although on saturday, after they had their HUGE ASS photoshoot, they had this thrown-together spin the bottle like game where one of them would start off by telling another one of them to to some lulzy. Of course, instand of placing themselves in some concer or something out of the way, they planted themselves right next to the artist alley and where everyone was walking on the second floor. After about maybe 3 dares by the most girl hetaliafags, they tell this male America to start striping. So, all he does is take off his jacket and sits back down, as all these horny ass underage asshats start to whine that he did not do enough and he just shouts to them "KEEP IT IN YOUR PANTS!". I lol'd

From what I hear, Mike, the owner of supercon, is making a stage show for hetalia. Seems like he wants to get back in touch with the anime fandom as well as have a new stage show because he kicked out the 3000 show, because they made fun of Tom Croom's wife/girlfriend/whatever even though it was funny and true as shit.

What a fucking fail con that is. 3 fucking years and they still can't get their shit together. From what I heard, the dodgeball game that the congosers put together out of no where was more fun then the damn con was.

Usually pretty good, but god damn. Way too many of those hetalia fucks there. Sure, some of them were not bad, but for every half way decent person doing hetalia, you had about 3 retards, running around and acting like war was full of kittens and fucking rainbows.

Tekkoshon 2010: A 5 mile long line of Vic Fangirls rooting for him to be in Hetalia. most of them were underage. : \ Tekko still can't get its shit together either. the fuck.

Setsucon 2010. Jesus christ who the FUCK thought it was a good idea to put the US of A's most popular voice actor in a tiny ass hotel? And yeah, they were all screaming for him to be in Hetalia. I don't even know which character, I couldn't hear shit. It was seriously that bad. Normally Setsu's a great tinycon but this year was horrible.

Pittsburgh's got a huge Hetalia fanbase. Some of them aren't so bad--a select few did a shoot in the Cathedral of Learning's Nationality Rooms that turned out really cute, they were really respectful and no one had any complaints. HOWEVER there's also a contingent that dresses up on a regular basis and walks around like it's normal. I don't know what is wrong with these people. At least no one wears the Nazi uniform. YET.

Is it more or are Hetalia gatherings getting too fucking large? I mean, look at the bigger cons that have Hetalia gatherings with 150+ attendees, Jesus fucking Christ

About two years ago I went to the MCM and there was this hetalia gathering. It was not very well known back there and they were 15 or so. Most of them were old-ish, no kids and a few had amazing historical cosplays, so I took some pictures.
The next MCM there was already a lot more people, mostly teenagers with bad cosplays and I saw some of the good cosplayers of the year before with other nice APH cosplays but not in the Hetalia gathering.
And the last MCM I didn't see this people at all and there were shitloads of very stupid teenage girls with casual cosplays playing stupid games. And not a single good cosplay.

I can say that I saw that fandom go downhill.

IMO, I wouldn't be so pissed off had they been laying next to the name or posing near the memorial. Still, there is a time and place for cosplay, and near a memorial is pretty iffy.

I think for every sane fan, you have a couple of hyper ones, and the few really bad ones.
