don't see how getting it done indicates neurosis more than having your
baby daughter's ear pierced with a gun or getting a boob job... i personally love it in theory. then again i find scars in general fascinating. the
issue is rather the unpredictability of the result. chances are the
scars will be uneven, obscuring/blurring the motif, or you might even
suffer from keloids. some people want keloids, but they're pretty much
impossible to control. some people have to get surgery to remove them
cause they can impair movement depending on their size &
placement... so yeah. lovely idea, difficult to put into effect nicely.
