08/31/10(Tue)03:05 No.3491336>>3491182 DO NOT TRUST MY WORD ON IT! i do not want to destroy your future just because what someone said on the internet. This is from my brother's experience, not yours. it's up to you to decide what you want to be.
From
MY knowledge, jobs in the creative department (art, design,
writing, etc) is going to be competition and being noticed for your work.
Very slim job opportunities.
any sort of civic, education job is
going to be average growth (teachers, government jobs, social worker,
therapist). if you are going to become the teacher, do the hard stuff,
cause no one else is willing to teach it.
Science and Tech i
would think would be above-average growth. BUT everyone is doing it, so
it's competition. A lot of my friends are engineer majors and they are
having a difficult time finding jobs.
Healthcare, big demand, of
course with the amount of baby boomers shriveling up and dying. There
are a lot of opportunities in this, jobs with few educational
requirements (mostly assistants, technicians), with moderate pay.
Business, I really don't know shit about it. I
always thought of it just being "people who major in it really do not
know wtf they're doing in life", cause most business majors i have
talked to felt dead end and shrugged.
but remember taking the more disciplined road definitely pays off. |
