Hello /cgl/

First time poster here, was wondering if you all could help me with a certain idea I'm having for AX 2011.

I went to this years AX with a group that was cosplaying as Hellsing characters; Integra, Seras + the Cannon, Rip van Winkle, and an armored Ghoul + BOODOO Shield. I was not dressed as anything, I simply went in street clothes, but man I wish I had dressed as something.

I've always seen cosplaying as 90% no-thought/low-budget outfits with a horribly gelled wig and 10% hammer on nail spot on mirrors of characters.

AX has flipped my opinion, Cosplaying is certainly worth it when you're surrounded by people who don't discriminate due to petty details, but enjoy the attempt you made. They also reward those who put time, money, and great effort into outfits with constant praise and glorifying, which brings me to the reason I'm here.

My Hellsing friends were asked to pose for photos by hundreds of folks during the past 4 days, while I did my best to sidestep and not photobomb. I felt a little sad, but the one who made the outfits promised to help me with one for 2011!

For 2011, I'm going to be cosplaying as Coyote Starrk, the #1 Espada from Bleach. Why? I was plenty of Uliquiorra's, Grimmjoww's, Harribel's and even some Tousen's and Barraggan's.

But no Starrk's
Thats only one reason I've picked Starrk as my choice, the other is due to my weight and hair.

I'm thin, a smidge of pudge in the gut, but nothing sucking in won't cure. My hair color matches his, and beyond this it tends to sit in a way similar to Starrk's own, without the use of gel or other hair products.

I've already laid out a plan for the costume on paper, but the part that stumps me is the Jawbone he wears as a necklace.

I'm thinking clay, or paper-mache might work, however, is there any other material that you all can think of that will make the jawbone look as realistic as possible?
