A-line-X suuucked. Wasted $35 and $10 parking for a chance to wander
aimlessly through lines to the freaking exhibit hall just to buy shit,
zero moving room through crowds posing and taking pictures, and retarded
panel/rooms.... What is this comic-con? At least THEY have a healthy
amount of recognizable characters and less white kids trying to be
Wapanese/weeaboo. I'm a flag waving geek but damn is it embarrassing
when some ugly white girl is speaking in a japanese esq high squeaky
voice trying to be cutesy while covering her face dramatically out of
'embarrassment' for being either super short, hyper, bowing too many
times, or for simply acting pants ass retarded. I get it that at these
expos its the 'culture' atmosphere that everyone supports/builds up but
I'm through. Next year, look for one less normally dressed bored guy NOT
standing in any more faggy lines.
Side question- are there ANY
expos/cons/fests/geek like gatherings that are worth the effort anymore?
Nothing pulls at AX except for people watching, comic-con is the
closest E3 for the average jack off (though sold out/packed and makes
the panels impossible to get into and merely frustrating). PAX any good?
Or some other vidya game related con? Eh, whats the point anymore
