Hobbes was in the room and got banned for trolling everyone then out of being butthurt he linked the room to /b/ and the room got raided. We've had problems in the past with raids and random people coming into the room asking for girls to show tits and people fapping on camera. Requiring logins allows us to have a bit more control and getting an account only takes about 5 to 10 minutes so its not too difficult.
