Look both tripfags and annons show up and have fun equally. The shizuo cosplayer at fanime was an Annon but was also a total bro and was able to make friends quickly. Don't knock these things until you try them. If someone like me a cosplayer that's not super hot and wears closet cosplay outfits was taken in as a friend then there's hope for everyone.

You need to stop, because it's just sad how little you know. A lot of the SoCal tripfags hang out with each other often. Many of the SoCal tripfags were ACTUAL friends before they started tripping.
Now that's just an example, and I'm not saying everyone is a best friend, but there is certainly no "fake" friendships here.

Tripfags are just like any other poster on /cgl/ yet are the subject of many threads both good and bad. There was many anon I ran into at Fanime in the artist alley who I got to chill with who recognized my trip and we had a great tim nerding out with one another. I highly doubt they were only doing so as a means to get /cgl/ famous as I pretty much fade into the background of /cgl/ most of the time.

4chan allows people to use tripcodes and it's part of the website whether you like it or not. I respect your choice of posting as anon as you should respect the users who use tripcodes.

If /cgl/ tripfags only care about themselves and looking good for internet fame, how come the allowed a guy who is not handsome, not cosplay savey and has no E-fame what so ever, into their group?

Oh geeze, uh.. outside of cosplay shoots (Pokemon as Sabrina, Macross as Ranka, Soul Eater as Tsubaki) I have parties, karaoke, and possibly some adventuring 'round Little Tokyo to do. I've also been invited to go see The Last Airbender on opening night, so we'll see how that goes!

After reading this thread, here's the suggestions that have been proposed.

Maguma is proposing a lunch outing at 11:30 AM on Day 1. I see this more as just general hanging out and not a "hardcore" meetup.

Meanwhile the general consensus is to meet at 3pm on Day 2. The meeting location can be the main area where the escalators that lead to the exhibit hall will be since that place has a lot of space or in first floor of the West Hall. I fore see this being the "main" gathering where we will just hang out and look like fools. From there we can coordinate future plans such as specific events to attend and send out room party invites.
