I haven't been to Anime North since 2008, and even then memes (especially "the game") were so fucking rampant, and apparently 2009 was TEN TIMES worse. I can't even imagine how awful these 4chan panels are going to be.

1. Sweaty Screaming Line Guy. He's a guy who works at the convention and screams at people on how to properly stand in a line while somehow shooting his heavy sweat at them. Infamous for screaming "Stop _____ing it's a fire hazard"

2. Yaoi Dealer Guy. He's in the Dealer's Room screaming at people to buy his yaoi every year, and screams even louder to announce what people just bought from him whenever they do.

3. Klingon Nazi Guy. Every year he dresses as a Klingon and acts like a nazi because he has some authority.

4. The Conventioneers. Your typical "Hahaha we've got a camera, let's go around being sarcastic shitheads to bad cosplayers and embarrass them." guys. Actually kinda cool but they're not all that witty.

5. The Basement Kids. A group of children doing improve skits in the spirit of Who's Line Is It Anyway. 99% of their jokes involve farting/mentioning farts. Even less comical than it sounds, if you would believe it.

6. PEOPLE. FUCKING. Woman. A 500 lbs woman who runs most of the 18+ panels. Her face lights up whenever she mentions "people fucking" as if someone just offered her a wedding cake.

7. Weapons Check Guy aka Heavy Weapons Guy. He's the only man with a degree in checking novelty toys to see if they're safe to play with. He's also fucking big, like Heavy Weapons Guy.

Also, a lot of conventions have concerts, dances, autographs, and other events. Depending on the size of the convention, there can be many choices of events to go to, and in the end, the $50 to get in for the weekend is really worth it.
