I took this picture of him at Fanime back in '05. I didn't know who he was, I just liked his costume.

If he slowed down just a little and really focused on making the cosplayers look good (you know, take a look at your subject and let them know if something that they are wearing is off-kilter or if their wig is making their real hair show or something), he could have some hope of being a little more successful.

I have no problem with his role as the guy who takes 10,000 snapshots instead of a few good photographs. A lot of cosplayers get photos taken but those photos are never put online. EBK puts his online, so cosplayers at least have something to show.

in my opinion EBK is a bad photographer not because his photos are mediocre at best,
but because it seems he refuses to try to get better.
There's barely any difference noticable between his older photos and his new ones,
There seems to be no improvement at all, which is sad, really,
because I think he could do much more if he would at least try.
