Fun, friends, and hopefully a better Otakon than the last time I went
CTcon's better.

I'm still on the fence with going or not. On one hand someone wants to LET'S POSITIVE THINKING it up, and on the other, more practical side, funds are tight due to moving and vacationing down in Myrtle like.. two weeks later.

Choices choices. I'm probably leaning towards not going cause I rather do enjoy having money and not being completely poor..

Going for the first time. Also being on a plane for the first time. Also first real cosplay... hopefully. I'll be doing my best not to look fugly.

Looking forward to the huge dealer's room! ...Though I don't know why, I most likely won't have any money.

Also look forward to the Masquerade. Are the skits normally any good? I don't wanna get my hopes too high here.

Dealer's room is huge. You may want to avoid it if you have no money because you'll get overwhelmed with "want to buy".

Skits are usually pretty good, but it depends if you want to wait in the long line for them. I usually just skip the Masq and then watch the videos after the con after I hear what is worth watching and what isn't.

SO REMINDER TO ALL: Make sure the parking garage you park at SAYS it's open for OTAKON. Apparently it doesn't count as an EVENT for all parking garages. :l

Being broke is kind of a problem, especially since I have niche interests and I bet I could actually find stuff there that I want to buy. It's all expensive shit, of course, and that's kinda part of my motivation to work my ass off and save up my money.

But then I realized I had a choice to make... I could cosplay, or I could have money. But I most likely couldn't do both. I really want to cosplay, but sometimes I look in the mirror and figure I'd be better off not trying.
