I just got home!
About half an hour before the dealer's hall
shut down I was by the YoumaCon booth and there were two people who were
literally stranded in Chicago because their train no longer ran to
their city. So I took them back to Portage because I had just enough
space in my car. Luckily I was going that way, otherwise I don't know
what would have happened to them :<
Other stories...uh, the
Embassy caught on fire or some shit, there were nonstop ambulances on
Saturday night, the masquerade ran really fucking long, Yoshiki showed
up at the masquerade, the Doctor Who gathering was HUGE, there was a
Lady Gaga cosplayer doing the caution tape outfit (who wasn't quite as
hot as Lady Gaga), there was a super sweet Sprite Cloud that rocked, One
Piece took for fucking ever to finish their shoot on Saturday and ended
up going in to the Baccano! shoot's time and then called us Durarara!
and I raged a little, there was a guy cosplaying as the Postman from
Zelda who had amazing legs, the DBZ twins were there, the two Paines
from And Sewing Is Half the Battle (who weren't Full Throttle Paine) got
the invite to the Yume thing, Korin and Tittyfish won stuff so tell
them congratulations, and I found three dollars on the grass outside the
Hyatt.
Shit was pretty cash. |
