I was working with my friends in the dealer's room when a fucking soaking wet ceiling tile fell on me. Luckily it only hit my arm. If I had been like, 2 inches over it would have landed on my head. First injury in 6 years of convention going. lol

Sadly nothing compares to that fat vag that was out at the strip karaoke. It was like a cheap strip club.

While I was trying to take a nap in the hotel room, some jackass in the room next to me continuously played the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers telecommunicator sound for a good two hours. People would come knock on his door, and he'd stop, but then a second later, he'd do it again. Drove me fucking bonkers.

MTAC has some good things and bad things. I like that they do themes and have an actual live mascot (Conkitty). Plus events like risque cosplay are actually a lot of fun (and I rarely go to events at cons anymore).

But you also have to deal with probably the worst bunch of weaboos ever and powertripping public safety/staff. And most of the cosplay is just unimpressive.

Also I'm going to miss Diletta as Conkitty. She was just too cute.

Thank god I left before the way home flooded. Shit got crazy. I'll post pictures when I get my camera back. Left it in my ride's car. lol

They'll let you in with backpacks, but if you've already purchased something and you've got one of those little grocery sacks they won't let you back in with it. In previous years they had a place for you to safely leave your stuff, but this year they just made you set it in the hallway or walk back to your car or something. These girls were awesome, they dressed as Pokemon Gym Leaders one day, Power Puff Girls another and a few of them were Phoenix Wright Characters later. Ran around and had fun shenanigans for a bit with them lol.

The Strip Karoke was wack, went in their for about 10 minutes before I left when the girl stripped nude and they started pulling a guys pants off. I was shocked they got away with it since they had people who were carding the event strangely enough...

On top of all that, a guy in the analog gaming room almost commit suicide Saturday night. He had been drinking a lot and he just suddenly went bonkers.

This was my first time at MTAC and I was largely unimpressed/disappointed. The events and panels were not very interesting, there were very few good cosplays, and everything was pretty poorly managed. (The rave starting nearly two hours late, for example.)

This year's MTAC was the worst. Weather was bad, some of the con staffers were assholes and just plain rude.

Last year was so much better and more organized.

They should really screen the people who work as staffers, even if they don't get paid. Still, it was very unprofessional to use "I'm con safety" as a excuse for everything.
I asked the guy if he was okay, and that's exactly what he yelled at me. I was like, "wtf? what's that got to do with how you feel?" Asshole...

..Except they only made the props. One of their moms made all the costumes. She had to go on stage to accept the award...

About the strip karaoke, my group all thought it'd be stripping like at cosplay risque where no nudity was allowed with karaoke and we were so disappointed and in need of eye bleach. They didn't even have the karaoke part working!

Best part though, when we left, the guy giving out wristbands offered $20 to whoever could get the first girl stripping to put on clothes since he knew her husband. So Bubbles grabbed a table clothe and bolted back. She literally threw it on the girl and told her that security said to cover the fuck up...I guess Bubbles wasn't hardcore enough to make everyone keep their clothes on though, but she got her money and that's what matters!

Also, when the lady from hotel staff (I think, she might have been MTAC, but I think she worked for the hotel) finally came and shut it and everything else down, we were curious to see what was happening with her closing it so she thought we were participating. She yelled at us till Bubbles explained how she covered up the girl. Then we were all comrades in need of eye bleach.
