The photographers are nice guys and have had many photoshot with them so many they now know me by my fist name. This weekend they are in brighton for the anime festival there so there sould be some nice beach shots in the 2nd book

I'm in there. It's a load of crap. Most people take better pictures and upload them to their DA themselves, sod paying £10 for them.As for MCM, I've not even started. Had major drama with a group deciding to not bother after I already spent £100 ish on a cosplay for it.

I'm also with the liking of the photographers of cosplay fever. They're cool guys. As for expo, I'm spending Saturday as Johnny Joestar,which I've only just ordered fabric/wig/contacts for. I like Cosplay Fever. Its fun and both photographers are really nice guys. Its nice for the UK cosplayers to have something to look forward to.
I got asked by one of the photographers for a shoot at Midlands Expo but I've heard some pretty bad stuff about some of them so I just panicked and said I was in a hurry -_-Regarding cosplay progress.... I haven't even bought the fabric and wood for the prop yet... I think I might have to try and get it all on bank holiday Monday.

Charging for this is bs.If the people are willing to make the costumes and pose for you, then it should be a "shots for time" policy.
Seem like nice guys but their photographs are awful! They quite often use very unflattering poses and pick terrible cosplays to put in their books.
I have a copy, but only because I won it free in a cosplay competition.Seem like nice enough guys, and the book is pretty cool
Personally I think the guys are pretty nice, well at least Pete as I hardly speak to Rob. They take ok - great photos but they do seem to have problems choosing good poses etc. I think they simply need to improve some what and they could be great (perhaps gain more of an understanding of cosplay and anime would be helpful).

I mean, a while back when they were just starting they took my photo, when i was pretty chub, the photographer then takes the photo crouching on the floor... Hey guys.
A friend was approached by them at Minami and they took her photo, got her to sign the forms, etc. I warned her about how awful the book was, how unflattering the photos are and how she'd be ripped to shreds, etc. Apparently she spoke to them and they were really nice about not using her pictures, or something? I don't know if she decided to revoke their permission or whatever, but at least they are nice chaps.
