04/26/10(Mon)06:01 No. 2873331 Your
Aspie score: 107 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 108
of 200 You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits I've
never been diagnosed with anything, but my brother has been diagnosed
with assburgers. My mom uses it as a crutch for him, of course, while he
and I have some bad personality traits in common, (of course I was
responsible for my own behavior growing up, didn't have a crutch to lean
on.) I think the symptoms we both show are part of being raised by a
mother with mental disorders, rather than the disease its self. Although
I'm pretty sure he is a true aspie, he can still learn to be a
functioning member of society like I have. I Hope every day I'm as
normal as apple pie, but growing up with an emotionally and financially
unstable household, that will never truly be the case. Maybe
studies should be done of how suspected Aspies are being raised, If they
come from stable, nurturing households, I think it's more possible that
they are true Aspies rather than just kids with social and emotional
problems.
