04/21/10(Wed)22:36 No.2856077>>2856031 Well, she
isn't an outright scammer like Crux and Kyodomo ended up being. But.
She's sort of in... the beginning stages of what they ended up being, if
that makes sense? And based on her behavior, I see no reason to give
her the benefit of the doubt in that she wouldn't turn to outright
scamming in the future. She's done nothing to try to assure people that
she's trustworthy.
And just like with crux & kyodomo, they
both started out fine. Some people had and still have smooth
transactions with them, item quality aside, even in the midst of other
people being owed money or items.
But since she's not outright
SCAMMING at this point, it's a hard situation to deal with. She was
taking forever on commissions. Not keeping up contact. Sending items
with subpar quality or with details changed without asking the buyer.
She lies about things being shipped. She blames the buyer for just about
any issues, asks them not to review on EGL because "it would hurt her
reputation!' and is just generally bitchy and trying to guilt trip
people into giving her a break. Even though, if it was anyone else, they
would not get one.
I think right now, she owes definitely one
girl $200 or so for a dress. I know one friend of mine who she owed
something from frickin' February that FINALLY got shipped in April,
after 2 different times Talia told her she had shipped the item. Is she a
scammer? Well, my friend got her item. But didn't look as good as the
stock photo, and it took forever - in addition to talia lying to her
twice, and not responding to her emails in a timely manner while it was
clear she was online. It's complicated.
IMO, she has done enough
to be banned permanenly. If she had handled the situation differently, I
know I and others could've given her the benefit of the doubt to
improve. But she's literally the same person she was a year ago, in
terms of maturity and being able to handle any sort of consequences to
slipping up. |
