you read the ingredients list of canned foods? Most of it are not good
sources of vitamins or the trace minerals (selenium, chromium, flouride)
. Canned/preserved foods is mostly full of calories from carbs,
proteins, and fats. Which is why I said you'll become malnourished. And
most canned foods have a shelf-life of 10 years or so. After that, not
only is the taste bad, you risk botulism. Also, infected woulds will
be a bitch to heal. You know what tetanus is, right? It's an extremely
fatal deep wound infection. Usually people are vaccinated for it, but
the body's resistance to tetanus decreases over time (which is why
you'll need boosters) If there aren't doctors left in the world, then
there's no one making new tetanus boosters, and all the existing tetanus
shots will expire within 5 years. Also, specific antibiotics works best
against specific infections. If you don't know what you're infected
with, how will you know what antibiotic to use? Plus antibiotics also
expire. Also, just because you're healthy now doesn't mean you'll
still be healthy when faced with constant stress. Stress takes a harsh
toll on the body, and lowers your immunity significantly. This means you
won't be as capable of fighting colds or infections as you are now.
Plus I bet the reason you're able to fight off colds so easily is
because you're well nourished. Like I said, if you had to keep surviving
on mostly canned foods, you'll eventually become too malnourished to
fight off colds effectively. I should probably stop replying to you
so I don't completely off-topic this thread D: |
