I'm in college, and I also clean tables at Chili's. Pretty good bank for a busboy.

Being a production assistant is never cash.

They are the tools of the film world.

Although if you could hook me up with a job, THAT shit would be cash.

    Courier.

Still going to school. Had a fucked up year in life so was forced to move back to my parents.

Was doing great, saved up enough to move out, then my job hit "famine" mode. Ate away my savings and it's now starting to pick up again.

I'm studying to get into Network Administration but more and more I'm starting to realize I'm a more hardware sort of guy. I might end up doing installs or engineering. The engineering sounds great but goddammit it means more school. Not to mention I know shit about making/designing electronics.

Sucky hours: At least 12 hours of work, call times varying from early in the morning, to mid afternoon.

    Low Pay: 9.28 an hour

The knowledge that you know more than any film student graduating film school, simply from experience on set: Priceless!

It's best if you, personally, haven't gone to film school.

Film school is such a massive waste of money, and I should know.

Still in school, but for the past two years I've been working as an accountant at an auction field.
It sucks during rainy/really hot weather, but I've been able to get some pretty awesome shit for almost nothing, and the pay is fantastic.

    I just got fired yesterday for not being aggressive enough ;-;
At 7.50 an hour, I guess it wasn't that big a loss, but it was still my first job and I bawled when they told me

Aw, I'm sorry. That always sucks. How old are you and how long did you work there?

I've been fired twice, but once was a screaming match with my boss when I was 17, and the other I was "let go" because the job "wasn't a good fit." I wasn't too upset about it because I hated that fucking job. The stress I was under made me sick.

I'm 18, and I really only worked there a little over a month, but the upsetting part, to me, was that other people just didn't show up, and they didn't get fired. People got fired for getting into fights, and other extreme stuff...not just because they weren't liked :(

I hope most of you college students enjoy your worthless jobs. Most liberal arts and arts-based degrees are useless as shit. Math and science is where it's at.

I'm seriously considering some kind of "alternative" job like sect leader or fortune teller because nine-to-five jobs (in my current case 9 to 6:15, ugh) piss me off to no end. I once begged in the streets for shits and giggles and couldn't believe how much money I made that day.
I guess I'm just a delusional failure at life
