    I've never been to a con rave, it's never really caught my interest. But this year I'm going to Otakon with a few friends who want to go to the rave. I'm not sure what I think of the whole idea though. I've heard they actually had a sex room. Is that true? Otaku sex sounds fucking disgusting.

    Went to the rave at AMA when I was staying in a hotel with a bunch of friends when I was younger...It's kinda boring, especially if you aren't a huge fan of dances... It's crowded, sweaty, they play bad techno, and EVERYONE has 5 billion glowsticks with them. Plus the otaku there are kinda creepy, IMO.

    If any of this sounds like your thing, by ALL means go, you'll love it. Me personally, though? I hate crowds, and only like to dance para para or by myself. :/

    I got projectile vomited on by some drunk near the front door to the con rave at AX '02.

    Never went back to any rave type of dance after that.

    I've only legitimately enjoyed raves where Greg Ayres is DJing. Otakon rave is hilarious, though, it's fun to count how many people are fucking.
