Somehow you missed that I said the same for
WonderCon, which is run by the same people who run San Dieg Comic Con.
Let
me make sure you see this point:

..and? OK, so somebody somewhere in Asia churned
out their own Batman anime/manga/whatever. That does not make Batman's
origins any more Asian. They probably still had to get permission from
DC Comics to use him at all.
If the use of the character in an
Asian anime or manga is enough validation for you to wear him to an
anime con, it's enough and do whatever you please. It's not enough
validation for everyone, however, so don't be surprised if you see
people tell you that it doesn't belong. |
