They're standard operating procedure underneath a dress shirt for anyone who gives a shit about how they look and smell. Know this: unless you want to wear a turtleneck under your dress shirt, you're fucked. Ring around the collar is why dress shirts originally has detachable collars, and why dry cleaners can still make money today.

I change 2-3 times a day so my costumes don't usually get that all day funk in them.
After undressing I leave the parts that touch my body room to air out.

Also of use are things called underarm guards. They stick to the armpit area to protect your clothing from sweat and deoderant. Very useful when you cannot wear a camisole or other garment under a costume.

I think the question is stupid. If you shower in the morning and put deodorant you should last a full day without smelling horribly, unless it's summer outside. But then you won't go outside.

If you get horrible sweat stains and you smell, you're obviously not having enough care with your persoal hygiene.

You guys sometimes impress me, just a few people seem to have the basic notions of education.

If you're getting horrible ring around the collar from wearing a shirt for a few hours one day, that's kind of amazing. But no one should be seeing it since it's on the inside anyway.
If you care that much though, at the end of the day right after you take the shirt off lay it down and sprinkle baby powder liberally over the inside of the collar. The next morning you can brush the power off and take the remainder of the mark off with a damp washcloth. Chalk also works well, but I don't know many people who carry around white chalk for no reason.

Some people sweat more easily than others, though.
Not saying that excuses a lack of personal hygiene or smelling of body odour, but for some people sweat patches are more of a problem.

I don't have any backups for my clothes, but I do now bring 2 Freeman I.D.s after losing the only one I had at SDCC and will now bring 2 pairs of Freeman glasses, considering how easily the first pair broke. Tempted to get a second crowbar as well. I also have spare Black Mesa patches to recreate the labcoat easily.

The surefire way of killing stinky bacteria is to lightly spray with vodka-water (1/4 vodka, 3/4 water) before going to bed.. Kills the smell, evaporates away. Cheap vodka, obviously. It's what Broadway and professional ballet do.
