work in cosmetics, so here's some advice I can give you. Use the right
tools, and stay away from liquid eyeliner, it tends to be water-based
and takes a while to dry, as well as has a tendency to cake with your
shadow. Stick to a cream-based, waterproof eyeliner, and apply with a
straight across, soft bristled (fox-hair) eyeliner brush (you can get a
good one at Sephora or Ulta). Make sure you prime you lids too with a
powder to keep oils from creeping into your shadow. If you need
absolute precision in your liner, I recommend a smooth applying,
freshly sharpened eyeliner pencil, (Make Up Forever has a great line
called AquaEyes that is smooth like buttah), and always apply from the
inner-eye outward, and do not lift your eyebrows when applying any eye
makeup as it will make what you apply fall lower when you relax your
brows. :D any other questions? I'll answer best I can. |
