I hate Steampunk 'oldfags' who see any kind of popularity of thier fandom as some sort of intrusion. Gtfo back to your basements. As far as i'm concerned the more the merrier because for every 10 fail there is 4 win and the win is what I like to see. I've seen plenty of new 'crews' popping up in Europe and US, some even rivalling the overhyped Outlanders.

A trigger it is missing. Only had a couple of days before the con I was attending and it's something I'm planning on adding at some point. It'll only take a few minutes but.... y'know. Laziness. The only other thing I might do to it is to fill the piping with some sort of fluid - maybe washing up liquid - to make it all colourful like.

It's really fucking heavy cus it's metal and wood. But I guess it adds to the realism of it.
