I'll be attending Anime USA this year. I've been there twice in 2007 and 2008.

It's gotten big over the years. I'd say the dealer's room is a good size and the cosplayers have gotten better. I'm going this year for the KAYA concert.

Bump. Also curious. I've heard it described as basically a smaller version of Katsucon. How accurate is that? I've been to Katsu, but not AUSA.

If you're there with a few good friends, you'll probably have a great time (I know its one of my personal favorites)

but on a whole, be prepared for a much smaller con, if thats your kind of thing, you'll have a blast, plus the hotel rooms are pretty cheap

It's only comparable to a small Katsucon because it's in the same hotel Katsu has been in (Crystal City Hyatt), heh.

It's a pretty chill con. I've always had a great time.
It's definitely one of my favorites and I've been going for a few years now.

I'm missing it for the first time in 5 years. Very sad.
