This fucker needs to get some game. He's got just about every major female cosplayer in his lap yet he doesn't know how to seal the deal.

If I knew that many hot cosplay chicks that have positive opinions of me I'd be hitting that shit ten times a day every con I go to.

Al told me last year that he had relations with a "friend" cosplayer within the past year from then. He said it was his first time.

I've been through a few of his galleries. His photos vary IMO, some are very high quality and some are not so great. I wouldn't say his photography in general is shit-tier however.
Andy Rak (pbase.com/andyrak) is still my favorite cosplay photographer. Props and kudos his way, etc.

I thought it was common knowledge that he's there as an amateur photographer (even though he's been at it for awhile). He's there just to take a picture of the moment, not make you look great. Am I the only who thinks the ACP photos he takes are better than his Cosplay.com ones?

I used to be honored when EBK took my photos. Now I almost try to avoid him in fear that he will. I'd rather have a small handful of GOOD pics of me on the internet than a bunch of ones that make me look bad!

EBK in a nutshell: Nice guy who can sometimes be creepy. If told to back off, backs off. Photo Quality is all over the place, but I appreciate the amount of convention coverage he does.

He doesn't go to every con, just a few per year. And he doesn't need to spend more than simply the cost of airfare and a few bucks for sharing a room. Which isn't too hard when you have a full time job and live alone.

It's extremely difficult to ever get a good photo of someone at a con, even if you're a skilled photographer. It's like trying to snap a photo of a bird while bird watching. If you're lucky you can get them to hold still for just a moment, and never under the circumstances you require.

The only way you can really get a good photo of a cosplayer at a con is to take the time out to schedule/set up a photo shoot with some preparation, and then do some photo editing afterward.

It's not that hard actually. I find it a photographer's wet dream which is why I've been going to em lately.
All you have to do is move your subject to the appropriate location... shoot for 2 minutes and find the next person.
It's easy as balls.
