OP CAN YOU FEEL THE PRESSURE?

Don't they sell like giant hammers? But then the only ones I've seen are inflatable.

Go with the fleece idea, stuff it, and put a large squeeky toy in it. (closer to whichever side you plan hitting with). Too much fluff in between will muffle any sound and make it harder to squish the toy. You can use something light but sturdy for the handle. (Pool noodle with wire/small PVC pipe?)
