Most obvious. Pigtails need styled and the skirt is way to long. The light areas on the skirt and boots could be considered off. But a lot of the artwork makes them look purple.

Needs a wig, and to get rid of the badge.

Other than that, not bad at all.

Hideous wig, leotard fur is too long, should have hemmed the fur so the back side of it doesn't show, bodysuit is the wrong color, makeup is smudged, eyebrows are too light, and hair is sticking out of the wig.

The girl is flat and ugly, too. At least I think it's a girl.

Not a fan of the costume because its an original design of one of my favorite characters. But its not a very interesting original design. Had she made a mask... or the hat... or not used jeans or fishnet wrist bands... just something INTERESTING, it would have been better...

I've made my own original designs, but I've tried to at least make it look more like the character. I still feel like a hypocrite to be judging it though... meh..

Face paint is fading. But mostly hair rage. HAIRRAGE.

Okay, so his hair is more cottoncandy blue but that's not the part that pisses me off. Not only did they use their own hair, it looks thin and too gelled and just gross, but the coloring fails miserably (as it always does with temp add-on colors) And there are patches of not-blue that show through.

I like this thread, here goes although its way to hard to just pick one.

Boots are all wrong but a nice substitute

First off the sleeves are wrong. They should be closed and there should be a slit right below the shoulder. The ribbon on the sleeves are just awful. The wig is... badly styled. The hakama are wrong. They have the openings at the sides. I can't see the hair ribbon but I'm sure it's wrong too.

She's seems to be of good weight and height for Kikyou. Her face is pretty good for the character. In all fairness I've rarely seen a good Kikyou wig in the ponytail style. For a bought costume it is crap.

Overall, not bad. But then again, its kinda hard to mess up a comic-verse symbiote spidey.

This is actually really good! Costume has a nice fit, girl is cute, wig is a good color. My only minor crits would be that the cut of the wig is not 100% accurate, and she could use a little bit more makeup to give her face depth.

I guess it's alright for a "girlfriend making her bf wear an outfit". The lack of wig or some sort of light tan makeup bothers me though ...and stubble. Oh and SANDING.

I think the only thing that did make me rage was a comment left on it saying that it was "SPOT ON!... ...LOOKWISE..." Okay.

Either way I'm happy there is some love for the character.

The fact that this came up before ANY Umbrella Corporation Character kinda stumps me abit. I didn't know cos/com was THAT bad.

Searched: Reika Kuze (from Fatal Frame 3)

I'll preface this by saying that NO ONE has done this costume right. No one. Ever. That said, this is perhaps the closest (perhaps).

However... she's pink. Reika is BLUE and GLOWS. Reika's entire body is covered in tattoos - snakes and holly. I don't know what these tattoos are (and granted, reference pictures of her tattoos are very difficult to come by) but you can tell pretty well that these were just kind of.... made up. And they're black - should be blue and purple and red.

So she needs body paint, more work on the tattoos, needs to firm up her body a little. Pants are completely wrong - too dark, wrinkled, worn a little too high, and completely lacking the designs that Reika's hakama have. Lose the badge.

Reika is supposed to be barefoot, but barring that, she should have gone with some traditional Japanese footwear. Hell, even a pair of flipflops would have been better than closed toed shoes and a pair of white socks :/

That said, though... she's going in the right direction with the silicone falsies. Still waiting for someone to do this costume some justice, though...

The fact that she isn't blue is what bothers me the most. Reika is CLEARLY blue. A deadish grey blue at the very least.

It's what I always feared of a Genshiken cosplay, he looks too much like he would wear that anyway. Nitpicking wise, he could've darkened his hair and styled it better, especially considering how easy this costume is. Also, the shirt is a poor material.

searched for Maki from Seto no Hanayome and i raged a lot...

First off not only is the wig the completely wrong colour but also made no attempt to style it; yes Maki has quite awkwardly styled hair but she could've at least made an attempt; it's certainly not that frizzy mess.

Kimono is far too flimsy; also she appears to have made it in 2 parts; top and skirt.
It's all one piece and is bunched with the Obi (which is too high up in this)

And god the shoes......Maki wears boots not man shoes; and the legwarmers need to be 100x looser!

Kinda just picked a favorite character at random, (Mars, that is) and I think I'll preface this by saying I'm a critical bitch.

I really like that her wig's so long, because most Mars just get like, a shoulder length one, but her bangs are much too thick (you can't even see her tiara). Or she could have styled the bangs out of the way.

Sleeves should be made of a much less stiff material/shouldn't look like shoulderwings. I really like her bow, but she has no brooch in the middle. Skirt looks okay but the hip roll looks...I don't even know WTF that is. Shoes are pretty wrong, and in general she should have used a less orange-red color and more true red. Last but not least, her gloves are a bit too big. All in all, she's not terrible though.

Dumbed down the costume - a *LOT* of details missing and fucked up scaling. Could've used better/more accurate materials as well as a wig. Pretty good effort for a newb, and good attempt at the boots too.
