you're talking about people who pay someone to make a costume for them,
not just getting friends to make it. And not people who just commission
portions of a costume, like props.
I don't care about it as long
as they give credit for who made it, and don't try to claim they made
it themselves. If they compete in it, it shouldn't be a costume they
didn't make the majority of (IE, eBay or fully commissioned), and they
need to credit the portions they didn't make. Unless it's a skit, since
those aren't really judged based on costumes anyway.
That's been the general consensus every time a thread like this has come up in the past. |
