I couldn't find any plain black shorts and it was a last minute costume and I didn't feel like wearing the XL sweatpants my brother used for his scout costume.
I had fun in the costume and I don't plan on changing it because one person doesn't see it as "practical." What about all those female warrior characters that are actually designed with completely impractical outfits? They're fine, right? Because that's how they're actually designed, but because this is an interpretation, its not okay because its too impractical for the character.
