    I'm cosplaying Tsukasa (from .hack//SIGN, not Lucky Star) at Otakon this year. Is the staff absolutely necessary? I'm not badass enough to make it myself and all the cosplay prop makers I've looked up are booked through the end of July.

    Get a wooden pole, cardboard, papier maché and polestyrene balls. Acryluc paint and get to work. Its not that hard. Just use your common sense.
