It's funny, though, OP. It seems like when people are employed, they tend to forget about cosplay and focus on other things.

Eh, I think enthusiasts of any hobby make irl sacrifices to indulge in their fandom. I'm not too hardcore about cosplay. I love it, but I don't let it run my life. Went to comic con last weekend, and decided to have one AWESOME con where I could go out, eat nice food, buy shit and drink rather than stretch myself to go to two in two weeks. Also, I really need to fucking sleep.

I actually derive sadistic pleasure from reading desperate, hysterical posts from cosplayers right before a con.

I love schadenfreude.
