AWA'08 I did the planning for my group's room. The last part of this thread has had me loling all over the place.

I guess I've been pretty lucky as far as hotel rooms go. Even the few times I've roomed with strangers, I haven't had any problems with them. Granted, I sleep maybe 4 hours a night at cons, and sleep like the dead when I do, so chances are I just don't notice noise and the like.

However, when one has insomnia and is wandering around the con at 3-5am, the last thing one wants to see is a bunch of awkward, probably-drunk adolescents making out in every corner available. In the stairways, in the lobby, in the hallways, in the public bathrooms...
