    This is definitly my project for the spring cons. Sewing up a purple suit will be easy (I'm thinking a crush velvet style? I'm worried it would look gaudy, but I think the Warden would be gaudy). And the top hat? Pfft, childs play.

    The trick of it is those big goofy glasses. They are integral to the costume, but I have no idea how I'd do them. Help?

    I would say a bottomweight fabric would work or if you wanted straight velvet but that would look too gaudy in my opinion.

    You're going to want to use coat wire hanger and that yellow clear film (Can't remember what it's called) just make the frame for the glasses then super glue the lenses on the frame. Voila. Big goofy yellow glasses.

    A perfect purple twill to get you started.

    Probably you want to use a transparent yellow plexiglass and cut them out to the actual size. Those elton/hippie glasses are too small for the warden.
