Industry standard rate for an inexperience amateur model doing nude work is $370 base rate then usually + expenses and so on is assumed. If it's true he's only paying $100/sometimes $200, then he's ripping them off to a rather great degree.

And that's going by nude work, if you categorized it as pornographic work (which it could well be considered) then he's ripping them off by even more.

It's not like there are companies out there paying models pocket money for this (well actually I know of one, but that's a different story). Basic artistic nude modelling commands prices in the multiple thousands for people with experience and can be around a straight grand for inexperienced people.

Free prints (or a digital copy) aren't something special to have in place of payment, they're something that you have the rights to and as far as the law is concerned throughout Europe, Canada, and all of the USA (except for Oregon for some reason), you can demand physical or digital copies of all pictures you are the key subject of for no charge. Why the fuck would you accept that as your only payment when it's your right to have them anyway in addition to payment? Are you out of your fucking mind?

And I don't know where to even begin telling you what is wrong with the idea that someone wouldn't get paid just because they have no previous experience, especially when it's nude work we're talking about.
