The price of my commission depends on what they are. I take pride in what I make and make sure everything on them is perfect. If you want a quality costume, of course it's going to be costly.

And as far as the fugly thing goes, I don't think Crystal is 'fugly' at all. And I'm not omfg-gorgeous, but I know I'm not ugly.
You don't have to have gorgeous models to sell things. I know there are tons of people out there who have low self esteem just because models advertise clothes and look gorgeous in them, while they are very average when they buy them.

Oh dear. While it's not necessary to have pretty models, and you put across a good point, it's just how things work. Usually when people see a pretty model in cute clothes, the thought "Wow, they look cute in that, maybe I will too" crosses their mind. Sure, it'd be nice if the world wasn't judgmental and shallow, but it is and if you own a business you have to do what you can to overcome that. Aaaand now I'm done giving advice, good luck.

Wow... You really need more practice sewing before you take on this type of thing.

Please learn how to sew before taking commissions. A seam should not pucker that badly down the back of a cloak. Your embroidery isn't making up for bad construction.

Try some makeup next time.

Your fabric choices are pretty horrible, especially for the skirts. Try something less glittery if you can help it, and something with a bit more body that won't look so limp.

And I'm sorry, but people will always see those wings as upside down. If you don't like their shape, make your own or find a better set.

People have done sailor costumes many times before, so there's lots of advice to follow. Do something different or at least uncommon to show off whatever skills you may have before trying to get people to buy from you.

I was just about to say, looks like a decorative stitch found on most sewing machines. As for the seams, looks like your thread tension is too high for that fabric.

Your costumes pretty good for a n00b cosplayer, but they certainly aren't good enough for commission. Wait until you have a bit more experience in sewing and costume making. Maybe take some classes.

I'm just glad she isn't offering wig commissions as well.
