After being pushed off? You die, bad end. If it continues after being pushed off and then returns to the title screen, that's an unfixed bug. Either way, you've died, hence you return to the title screen.
Chapter 5 crash was during the park scene; the game would give a generic crash at some point in that scene.
Whenever you start a chapter, you see what chapter you're starting. Convenient, no?

i can´t work this out.
every time i press start, instead of starting the game, it shows some interference (from old tvs) then it just takes me back to the title screen.
also the loading screen is completely black except from some pink numbers.
