I bought my first costume. There was some flaws with it, what with it being much to big for me, yet it was really tight around the arms. But other then that, it was a nice costume.

For my first con, I tried to make Rikku, but it didnt get anywhere near finished.
The first costume I actually finished was Wedding Yuna.
My mom made the whole dress, I did the wings, front feathers, and bouquets.
I really want to re-make it... but Im waaaay too lazy.

This is one of the only pictures I still have of my first costume, I think I was...14? It's ok, not the best I think yay for Lady Subaru. In this costume I learned always watch ALL of the series (not just all but the last two episodes) before actually cosplaying it.

Oh, and my story...
I was a pretty skinny gal, and fitting the dress was a little hard, and the dress was finished a few months before the con. When I actually got to the con and put the dress on, it turns out that I had lost some weight. Enough so that the dress nearly fell off every time I moved.
I also learned the horrible truth about spray on hair color. Made me look like I had a really bad tan on my face.

My first cosplay was Yami Yugi
And i stole a wall scroll xD

my first (official) cosplay started to fall apart 3 steps into the hotel of my first con. It's still embarassing to this day, but at least I made my best friends in the people who lended a hand (or to be more accurate, super glue, haha).

I don't have any pictures of my very, very first costume. And that's okay. The second one I made was made with cardboard, spray paint, Styrofoam balls, and hockey socks. I wore it for about 10 minutes and took it off.

My first costume was Kagome, Otakon 03. It was mostly held together with loose hand sewing and double-sided tape. Not seam tape, double-sided tape. The kind you use with paper.

My first cosplay is one that I actually still wear, and I'm still proud of it. (Shows how long I've been making costumes.)

Before this, I couldn't even thread a sewing machine. My mom was a huge help in helping me frankenstein the patterns, then standing over my shoulder and making sure I did everything right.

(I'm the one in the middle fangirling over the spartans.)
