depends on what the hell you're trying to accomplish. It teaches you
only the meanings of a shitload of kanji, which works quite well if
say, you want to translate manga or very slowly read a VN (basically,
reading anything Japanese-related on the computer). So when have you
deal with kanji, you can very quickly look it up in an electronic
dictionary in a few seconds. It's a very quick and dirty method. No,
you won't know how to pronounce the word, but you will know how to look
it up.
From there on, it is up to you to take things to the next
level and memorize the Japanese pronounciation and stroke order.
Because really, do you want to depend on a Japanese dictionary for the
rest of your life? |
