If you just like anime like me you had no fucking clue what was going on, got introduced to 50 characters you don't give a shit about at once, and were thrown in the middle of a world you don't give a shit about or know about.

There wasn't even enough Ghilbi animation to warrant playing it. They crammed it all in the beginning, and the rest of the game just looked and played bad. The only decent part of it was the Fairy Village. The rest of the game was awful.

No, the plot is completely separate from the games. Same concept, but there was never such a friendship treaty. And they are mixing continuities, Arfoire didn't exist in Hyperdimension, only in Ultradimension, since the first game is not story canon.
