Star Driver is like CG but without the story. Regardless of if you liked it or not CG had a story. Star Driver is just bullshit happening for 15 minutes then in the last 5 minutes the Gary Stu shit protagonist beats up some robot with no effort, never actually losing because who needs weaknesses and drama?

I watched it after it aired and I liked it. Besides the threads were kind of shitty anyway.

I liked the Mecha fights because they were actually drawn rather than being the CG'd garbage they're like this season. The fabulous was also a huge part of its charm.

Story was shit, though, that I can say.

Star Driver's main problem is that it had too many characters for a series that's only 25 episodes long. Cut some the characters or add more episodes and everything would have been better.
