Waiting THAT long to get answers to even the most basic of questions would be fine if the characters made me care or answers were teased more sporadically, but even in the manga shit's a mess right now. I find a handful of SnK's characters appealing, but they're always in the background to one-dimensional Eren's antics; when your main character can go seven episodes without changing at all except into a titan giving a fuck becomes harder and harder. My favorite episode so far was 6, if for no other reason than the monochromatic main character's absence allowed some much needed breathing room to the other characters. Something I don't see happening again any time soon.

Why should it be a problem? Majority of shows are one cour, it's nice to have something that won't end in six hours. There's a lot to SnK's plot. One mystery gets solved, another appears. You shouldn't expect mysteries vital to said universe to be resolved quickly, it has to take time to be believable. Hints are dropped around all the time, so there won't be any asspull. I'm really impressed by SnK's plot, even if I like many manga/anime more for various reason.
