Guilty Crown had above average production values, despite moments of QUALITY in some later episodes. It was enjoyable too, as a trainwreck. If it wasn't, why was it the most discussed show at the time? The livestream threads in some of the final episodes were ridiculous.It certainly wasn't a horrible anime, but a lot of people went into it expecting something fantastic, given that it was noitamina, IG, supercell, etc. Even with the retarded, unlikable characters, and ridiculous plot, it is still above average as a whole. It's like R2 all over again, but with worse characters, and even more incomprehensible twists.
