A post-apocalyptic epic set on a planet other than earth where genetic manipulation has turned the majority of the population into human hybrids from ancient mythos. The technology level is at steam engine/steampunk.

The main protagonist is an android from before the planet was abandoned, has self regeneration via consumption of metals, powered by futuristic powersource scifi magic. Snake girl finds him and activates him and they do things for money (kill monsters, bandits, errands, etc.). Explores the possibility of "do machines dream of electric sheep".

Also, soundtrack is powered by Two Steps from Hell/Thomas Bergensen.

Show where MC loses every battle. It starts off with the typical "I MUST GET STRONGER" but no. He keeps losing. Eventually everybody hates him then he kills himself.

I'd use all of SHAFT's Madoka money to make a fourth season of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, one that's a better wrap-up than the season 3 OVAs.
