    No. Many of the Gintama fans went in being told it was "Just like Gintama!" and it's really not at all alike aside some voice actors and the very basic premise. Aside that this is complete shit because the creator worked on Gintama for awhile and thought he could copy it while making his own twist to it and failed horribly.

    You might like it - but don't even bother comparing it with Gintama or watching it because of liking Gintama.

    I'd even say that Gintama is more hit and miss than SKET Dance due to the toilet humour, injokes and wackyness.
