04/25/12(Wed)07:26 No.64845122Sasuke
chooses to abandon his village, friends, and team in search for the
"power" to defeat his brother. Never mind the fact that his brother
became as strong as he did in said village, or the fact that he was
going to knowingly give his body and soul up for this power. He did it
anyway. This is a complte derailment from his earlier character growth
(during the chunin exams he began to care for his team, and view Naruto
as a comrade and friend). So, he chose an idiotic fast route to gaining
the strength to kill his brother. Next, he gains massive amounts
of power by doing nothing more than getting stronger eyes. No work, no
effort, just killing his brother, and he gets eyes strong enough to take
on Naruto (who, well at least kinda worked to become strong) without
breaking a sweat. He killed his brother, completing his life's
ambition, and then what does he do! He finds out that Itachi was a good
guy all along. He does not admit his mistake though, oh no. instead, he
latches on to the idea that "it is all Konoha's fault." So, he is also
incapable of admitting his own mistakes. He goes emo about his
brother killing his family, he kills his brother for revenge, he finds
out his brother had a damn good reason for killing his family and loved
Konoha, so in respect of all that he swears to destroy Konoha completely
going against his brother's final wish. Such great, logical writing. He
gave up his life for power, doesn't work for anything, and blames
everyone else for his own problems. What a great character with such
well-writen, logical motivations. |
