The gist I usually get is NGE fanbase is usually regarded in the same way the Deathnote fanbase, with some people loving it to death while others are like UGH SUCH FAGGOTRY SHIT SUCKS. No real comfortable in betweens.Was curious if people who didn't like the series could like rebuild or if their absolute hatred clouded them from rebuilds utter awesomeness.

Love the series, love the rebuild movies so far. I don't like a lot of anime, I consider most of it to be utter garbage, but Eva's got the right amount of psychobabblery, monsters, touches of gore here and there, and a couple characters with believably human personalities. Probably never going to actually buy any Eva merch, that shit's gay. Might get a decal or tattoo, though. Pic related.

I actually enjoyed the two movies so far and I can not wait for the third installment. The real issue is will the cycle end?
The CG is fugly at times.
Rebuild was OK until they lost the script and had to grab something of of ff.net to fill in the second movie.

reminds me of Dragonball GT in many many waysif you look at GT & Rebuild, they are exactly the same shitthe only difference being DBZfans admit GT is shit, while Evafans see Rebuild as a "flawless masterpiece"to be fair, Rebuild isnt done yet, but the 3.0 preview looked bad
