Angel Beats started as a great comedy, with all those hilarious campy plot-twists adding a lot to the whole experience....and then it turned out the writer actually believed he's creating a serious story. That was awkward.

My main complaint about the show is that I felt it should have focused more on the characters having to actually accept their deaths. Instead we got adventures against Tenshi clones and LOVE.Finally, when it was time for the characters to disappear, I didn't feel like there was any closure. It was more like>Welp, time to go.
