Man, I wish the video games industry would establish a standard for special edition boxes. Not the big extravagant gaudy crates or whatever, just those ones that come in a larger cardboard box, but still belong on a shelf with other games. As far as the BRS franchise goes, the only new entry into that is BRSB, though a couple of designs (a "ranger-ish" version of BRS, a BRS with a flamethrower, BDG and more) are all also included in the BRS section - without knowing runes, it's impossible to know if they were scrapped concepts since they do all share similar traits with the other cast members.

However there's no getting past the likes of Maid Gunner et al having a very similar style, most noticably the background being incredibly similar to that which was in the original BRS video.
It'll be at Huke's discretion whether he decides they'd fit into the franchise or not.

The original pricing put them in the range of actual statues. As you might be aware they kinda sacrifice some detailing quality in the process and the joints kinda stick out (though IMO, the ActSta's actually do a good job hiding them). They weren't able to win over statuefags who seem to just hate joints in general and action figure fags prefer the smaller scale at almost half the price of an ActSta.

Ordered these 2 SAL, Piccolo two weeks ago when HLJ restocked and Vegeta this afternoon. It's funny, I'm watching DBZ for the first time and every time I order a character they die less than 3 episodes later. Maybe if I buy a Majin Buu now I can skip his entire saga.

Also, I read somewhere that Date Masamune nendos are getting a new base along with Yukimura. Mandarake is the only place I don't see Date sold out of pre-orders (and it's 3500), but since it has the old base I'm not sure it's worth it. Are there any shops still taking pre-orders on Date or am I out of luck?

If you're into airsoft, yes. Helps if you can prod the dealer to see how much they know about the stuff. As for figures, be wary. Look on myfigurecollection for the entries for figures you ABSOLUTELY want and the available bootleg images. Remember the differences and inspect carefully.

I have a question for any photofags browsing right now.

Whenever I take a photo of a larger figure it comes out like Saber here. Whenever I take a photo of a smaller figure it comes out reddish like Sakuya. I'm using the exact same settings and lighting for both, so I have no idea what's going on. I'm using Incandescent white balance settings. Panasonic DMC-LX5.
