When you were younger, let's say when you were five - that one year was fucking 20% of your life up until then, so of course it feels like a whole lot. I cannot believe it's been that long since something truly memorable happened on /a/.

Really though it always confuses me how some posters seem to act like anime is going to continue in their lives for years and year. The years going by so fast only seems to remind me of how it's going to all end. When you think about all the old memories it's hard not to realize how much anime was better to you back then when it was so exotic and new. I'll probably only get more jaded and enjoy it less as the years pass and it gets more and more stale. Plus I mean moot was a big enough weeaboo to make an entire site for it and go into debt to keep it running early on and he himself grew out of anime completely.
