Why do you think did we get two seasons of Kaiji? Why do you think are we going to get another season of Moyashimon?

Obviously if a show is popular enough to get watched a lot (though possibly not sell a lot of blu-rays), it's a good enough reason to make another season too.

You guys saying it flopped, you know some anime are produced to promote manga sales? DVD sales are just icing on the cake in that case.
So if it's getting a second season and it flopped either the staff just really liked animating it, or you know, it was made to promote the manga and it's success isn't based on blu-ray/dvd sales.

First of all, it hasn't even gone on sale yet. So, it hasn't "sold worse than nichijou". Secondly, and most importantly, Nichijou's budget was obviously WAY higher than Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou. You can't tell me I'm wrong. Which means KyoAni probably lost a lot more money on it. Also, I hear the manga is selling pretty well.

Now that i've finished this show, I honestly feel like there shouldn't be a season second. Much like there shouldn't be one for Nichijou. Both had touching endings and it would kill the mood that the first left behind.
