I
would like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as
hamburger, is in fact, bun/hamburger, or as I've recently taken to
calling it, bun plus hamburger. Hamburger is not a meal unto itself, but
rather another proprietary component of a fully functioning bun/bread
meal made useful by the hamburger patty, cheese, and lettuce comprising a
full meal as defined by chefs.
Many restaurants use a modified
version of the bun meal every day, without realizing it. Through a
peculiar turn of events, the version of buns which is widely used today
is often called "Hamburger," and many of its users are not aware that it
is basically the bun developed by farmers.
There really is a
hamburger, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the
meal they eat. Hamburger is the shell: the material in the food that
allows you to interface with the buns and utilize its services in a
user-friendly fashion. The buns is an essential part of an hamburger,
but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete
meal. Hamburger is normally used in combination with the buns: the
whole system is basically buns with hamburger added, or bun/hamburger.
All the so-called "Hamburger" meals are really distributions of
bun/hamurger. |
